Interpretation
For more than 25 years, inlingua® Princeton has provided consecutive and simultaneous interpreting services around the globe. Our team of highly trained interpreters is ready to help you cross language barriers.
Inlingua – Simultaneous interpretation
Simultaneous interpreting is ideal for conferences, seminars and large meetings. Our talented specialized interpreters are trained to speaking and listening simultaneously (at the same time) than the speaker. They usually use special equipment such as a soundproof booth and headsets. The recipients wear headsets in order to receive the information from the interpreter.
At inlingua® Princeton, we can provide you with the technology needed to make your event a success.
Inlingua – Consecutive interpretation
Consecutive interpreting is usually for one-to-one or small group meetings. It takes place when an interpreter waits for the speaker to finish a sentence in the source language and then says the spoken translation. No special equipment is required by the interpreter. It generally used in the following situations:
- Court hearings
- Depositions
- Hospital appointments
- Medical examinations
- Telephone calls
- Interviews and meetings
- School evaluations
- Business meetings
