Language Training Programs
General English Programs (ESL)
inlingua® programs are modern and conversational, with a structured approach designed to incorporate grammar, idioms and relevant vocabulary. Prior to enrollment, students may be assessed at no charge to determine the appropriate course of study for them. Our trained instructors have native fluency, are sensitive to intercultural issues and include in their lessons useful vocabulary and information on topics such as:
- Meeting people
- Shopping
- Banking
- Telephoning
- School
- Doctor’s appointments
Lessons also address correct pronunciation and include practice in:
- Rhythm
- Stress
- Intonation
- Consonants and vowels
- Blending
Private Instruction
Private instruction is the most effective way to learn as it allows the student to move ahead as quickly as possible at his or her own pace. Programs focus on the specific objectives of the individual student and offer a custom designed schedule so that the student’s needs and time constraints can be accommodated.
Group Instruction
Group instruction is especially helpful to students who are interested in improving their language skills while meeting other people and learning the terminology used in a variety of common, daily situations. inlingua® purposely keeps its groups small (2 to 5 students) so that each student can participate fully and achieve maximum progress.
TOEFL and TOEIC Preparation
These courses are designed to prepare the student for the Test of English as a Foreign Language and the Test of English for International Communication. Students practice:
- Listening skills
- Speaking skills
- English language structure
- Reading and Writing skills
I-20
inlingua® Princeton is approved by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to issue the I-20, which is necessary in order for a visitor to obtain an F-1 Student Visa. inlingua® accepts new F-1 applicants, F-1 transfer students from other I-20 approved schools, and visitors who are changing their current visa status to F-1. If you are interested in coming to the United States to learn English or to improve your English language skills, click here to download the I-20 application form. For your convenience, privacy and safety, this form should be printed, filled out and mailed to us directly.
Crash Intensity Programs
The Crash Intensity Program (CIP) and Mini-Crash Intensity Program are special, private courses recommended for individuals who need to "jump-start" their language skills. The student works with a team of instructors using a course of study custom-designed for his or her individual needs. The CIP offers immersion training - a full day of private instruction (9:00 am to 4:00 pm with an hour break for lunch) for a specified number of days or weeks. The Mini-CIP is a shortened version of a CIP in that the student takes private instruction for a half-day (either morning or afternoon) for a specified number of days or weeks.
Flexible Frequency Program
The Flexible Frequency Program (FFP) is a private program which allows a custom-designed schedule, fixed or variable. In this way, training will always fit into busy schedules.
On-Site Instruction
inlingua® will gladly provide language training on-site – at your residence or office, or at any mutually agreed-upon location. On-site lessons are normally scheduled in visits of 3 consecutive lessons (approximately 2 hours).
